Voiceover recording

For the voice-over for both the documentary and the radio advert we decided that we wanted to use the voice, this was so that they linked together well.  We wanted the voice-over to be a male voice-over  this is because we think that it will be soothing and relaxing for our target audience of mostly women, also because we think that they would prefer to listen to a male voice than a women's voice.  We learned how to use the radio room in order to record our voice-over.  The equipment which we used in order to record the voice over was the computer, sound control switchboard, headphones and mic. We decided to use the radio room so that we would be able to get a clear, smooth voice-over.  We had to transfer the sound to a USB, so that we could move it to the computer which we were making the documentary on, in order to start editing it in.
